Andrew DuffPaul Kristensen is a successful venture capital investor of over 30 years standing with an outstanding track record of identifying breakthrough technologies and converting them into valuable companies. Paul's portfolio includes many ventures that he has taken to listings or trade sales in markets around the world including ERG, Arbortech, Xenotech, Kinetic and Structural Monitoring Systems. He is presently Chairman of AIM-listed DDD Group Plc, a 3D visualisation company headquartered in California and founded on technology originally developed at a West Australian university. His corporate experience comprises past or present board membership of many other early-stage, venture capital invested companies. Paul's wide-ranging exposure to new technologies from all science and engineering disciplines has afforded him outstanding technology judgment and the ability to identify and strategise exceptional business opportunities. Paul is an advisor to Imprimatur Capital (UK) and MiPod Systems. He has significant experience in structuring investment, business and technology transactions in Europe, North America and Australia. Paul chairs the Western Australian Government Innovation Centre Advisory Panel and is a member of the Pathfinder Committee managing a Proof of Concept Fund supporting the emergence of early stage ventures from the University of Western Australia.

Andrew DuffAndrew Duff is an innovation consultant who holds directorships and advisory board memberships in an array of small technology intensive companies. He consults to large corporates, new ventures, public sector research organisations and government on innovation and new venture creation through Innovation Economics and Corporate Venturing. He specialises in opportunity scoping assessments and in defining value maximising development strategies for early stage ventures. In his corporate assignments he leads Corporate Venturing’s innovation process and innovation roadmapping functions as well as designing mechanisms for applying corporate financing to new ventures. In addition to his consulting roles, he has since 2000 taught a post graduate unit at the University of Western Australia Business School in new venture creation. He has worked with cross disciplinary MBA student teams assisting the development and presentation of investment proposals for 45 high technology ventures. Fourteen of these have raised private equity financing.
